GALA 2011 - "Jazz in the City"
Burlington Fine Arts League GALA, Grand Auction for the Living Arts, will be on November 19, 2011 at the PZZAZ Event Center on Roosevelt Avenue in Burlington.
Those who attend the auction in their evening finery have the opportunity to bid on trips, antiquies, furs, condo vacations, parties, home decor, landscaping, cashmere, boat trips, exceptional art work, jewelry, and much more. Where else can you spend a fun-filled evening bidding on the one-of-a-kind gifts not found anywhere else?
This is an evening for being with friends, old and new. Bidding, winning, and dining all combine to provide a fun-filled, festive evening that is a benefit to all who use the arts in Burlington.
100% of the money raised at GALA is donated back to the community. 40% is given as scholarships, 50% goes to local requests for major projects, and 10% for special request projects which are distributed throughout the year. GALA 2011 was a Success!!
It was a festive evening as arts patrons decked out in their finery attended GALA 2011 on Saturday, November 19th at the Pzazz Events Center! Thank you to all who came to support the Fine Arts for Des Moines County!
The past GALA Brochure is posted below with all the terrific auction items. Tickets were $50 in advance and $60 at door. Our raffle to New York City was a big hit with tickets at just $20! For more detailed information regarding GALA, please click on GALA page.
